Luanne Cardoso Mendes: Graduated in Biomedical Engineering at Aix-Marseille Université – France in 2016 and at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) in 2017, and MSc in Sciences at UFU in 2019. Currently, she is a PhD student at UFU and at the Université de Lorraine in Metz – France, where she is doing her PhD in cotutelle. Her PhD is based on the development and validation of a serious game for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, and also in the evaluation of motor symptoms of these individuals through collected signals. She is a member of the research group Center for Innovation and Assessment of Technologies in Health (NIATS), by CNPQ. Isabela Alves Marques: Graduated in Physical Education at the Federal University of Uberlandia (Brazil) in 2008. Specialist in Clinical Physiology and Training for special groups by UNIASSELVI (2011-2012). Received her MSc in Science from the Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU, Brazil) in 2014, working on rehabilitation engineering and assistive technologies. Received the PhD in Science from the Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU, Brazil) in 2019, with a project the aimed upper limbs rehabilitation post stroke. Worked as an assistant teacher at the Biomedical Engineering Department (Federal University of Uberlandia, 2016). Camille Marques Alves: Master of Science from the Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering at the Federal University of Uberlândia (2019). Graduated in Biomedical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (2016). She has experience in the field of Biomedical Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technologies. Rodrigo Ramos Rosa: He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (Brazil) in 2005. He holds a Specialization in Labor Engineering from the university Unigap/Uniessa (Brazil) in 2012. He is currently a MSc student, with a CAPES scholarship, at the Federal University of Uberlândia in the Biomedical Engineering course. His master is based on developing a human machine interface for the evaluation of motor signals in Parkinson’s disease. Angela Abreu Rosa de Sá: graduated in Computer Science (2001) and Languages (2002) from the Federal University of Uberlândia (Brazil). She received her Master’s degree in 2004 and her PhD in 2010, both in Information Processing (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-1818-8270). Post doctorate researcher at the Federal University of Uberlândia. Marcus Fraga Vieira: Graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Goiás (1984), degree in Physical Education from the Federal University of Goiás (1994), Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical option, from the University of São Paulo (1995), PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical option , from the University of São Paulo (2001), and Post-Doctorate in Biomedical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia. Edgard Afonso Lamounier Júnior:
Holds a PhD in Computer Science from The University of Leeds, UK. He was a professor at the Federal University of Goiás in the Department of Computer Science between 1996 and 2001. Eduardo Lázaro Martins Naves: Received the title of Electrical Engineer from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Federal University of Uberlândia (FEELT-UFU) in 1994. From the FEELT-UFU, he also received the titles of Master of Science in 2001, and Doctor of Science in 2006. From 2001 to 2006 he was a professor at the Department of Computer Science at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). In 2006, he joined FEELT-UFU as a professor. Fábio Henrique Monteiro Oliveira: Graduated in Information Systems (2010) from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás (IFG). Participated in the Young Miners Citizens of the World program in IT training in India (2012), by Infosys in partnership with the Government of Minas Gerais. He holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (with emphasis on Computer Graphics, 2013) in the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU) and a PhD also in Electrical Engineering (with emphasis on Biomedical Engineering, 2020) which won the SBEB-Boston Scientific Award for Innovation in Engineering. Guy Bourhis: Professor at the University Paul Verlaine-Metz then at the University of Lorraine since 2005 (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-5158-8831). His current research is called “Cooperation and human-machine interaction in rehabilitation engineering”. He is in command of the EPSAP team of the Laboratory for the Design, Optimization and Modelling of Systems (LCOMS) and is in command of the Human-Machine Systems Engineering (ISHM) speciality of the I2E2I master’s degree at the University of Lorraine.
Pierre Pino: Pierre PINO holds a PhD in computer engineering, automation and signal processing. He has been a lecturer and researcher at the University of Lorraine since 1996 (https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6191-2308). His field of research concerns Mann/machine interaction, assistive technologies and rehabilitation technologies. He teaches at the bachelor and master level in the fields of mechatronic, industrial computing and Ergonomic in assistive technologies. He is a member of the ENOSIS team of the LCOMS laboratory.
Yann Morère: Yann Morère holds a PhD and a habilitation to direct research in computer engineering, automation and signal processing. He has been a lecturer and researcher at the University of Lorraine since 2001 (http://orcid.org/0000-0002-2499-7576). His field of research concerns human automatic control, assistive technologies and rehabilitation technologies. He teaches at the bachelor and master level in the fields of Energy, Electronics and Automation: automation, signal processing, industrial computing.
Adriano de Oliveira Andrade: Graduated in Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Goiás (Brazil) in 1997. He received his MSc and PhD in Biomedical Engineering respectively from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU, Brazil) in 2000 and from the University of Reading (UK) in 2005. He completed a one-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship awarded by the DFAIT (Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada) at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering of the University of New Brunswick (Canada) in 2010. Currently, he is Professor in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering (UFU).
